Margaret Woodcock, Business & Partnership Manager at Hull Training, said: "There's many benefits to doing an Apprenticeship. Obviously you're earning while you're working - you're working alongside real people so you're learning the skills and the knowledge that you're going to need to do that job and it's just an amazing opportunity.
"There are two really great pathways on U-Explore to help young people. The first would be to take a look in My Options and to explore a little bit more about what an Apprenticeship is, to see if it's something that you would be interested in. It's really good - it gives you an oversight of what you would be doing.
"The second thing would be to look in the Job Bank to start exploring what kind of jobs might interest you and then you can start to map. If you find a job you like... you can then find the Apprenticeship route that suits you best."
