The StoryPhones download store, BookShelf, has been running for three years and is the only audio download store developed specifically to provide audio resources for schools and nurseries.
Many of the audio titles on BookShelf are only available in MP3 format from the store, with access exclusive to StoryPhones customers. All downloads purchased from the store are tagged with information and images and include a site license allowing the stories or songs to be played and used throughout the school or nursery. Should users accidentally lose their audio story or song, they can download it again for free.
BookShelf has recently expanded to include the following new publishers:

- Red Robin Books and Neil Griffiths
- Jolly Learning
- Acoustic Music
The most recent additions to the download store include titles from the BBC Audiobook collection. StoryPhones customers can now download the Just So Stories, traditional tales read by Lenny Henry, or buy episodes from the ‘Listen and Play’ Schools Radio Series.
