The ExplorerLAB™ Mobile Science Lab includes a fully functioning sink and tap, data loggers for recording and demonstrating results of investigations and an accessory drawer, containing safety googles, latex gloves and tissues. In-door storage is provided for test-tubes, pippets and an airpump, and four drawers with protective foam inserts are supplied to store and protect high quality glassware. The ExplorerLAB™ also includes storage and charging for up to five netbooks using unique ultra-safe and simple SmartLine™ technology that charges devices simultaneously in the quickest possible time without the need for AC adaptors.
Designed with a small footprint, the ExplorerLAB™ mobile science cart can be easily wheeled between classrooms and buildings and then locked away in an office or cupboard to keep chemical out of reach. The mobile science laboratory can also be bolted to the floor to prevent unauthorised personnel wheeling away chemicals and equipment. For ease of mobility, the science cart rests upon four large castor wheels, two of which are lockable.
The mobile science lab is constructed of a fully-welded chassis manufactured in recycled steel, with care taken to ensure that the unit provides resistance to corrosion and rust that may occur as a result of a chemical spill. The ExplorerLAB™ is secure, robust and durable and features a chemically resistant work surface that is ideal for demonstrating scientific experiments. The science cart also provides the facilities to deliver multimedia presentations, such as a fully adjustable twin platform support for a laptop and projector, electrical power sockets and effective cable management.
