Note Taking Express (NTE) was originally developed to allow schools and universities to provide more independent note-taking support for students. Rather than teachers or teaching assistants creating paper-based notes, students can capture important speech, and then accompany this with images, such as whiteboards and slides. The file can then be sent from the student’s phone or tablet to a remote note taker via the Notetalker app, which will then create an easy-to-use set of notes, based on the recording created by the student. As you can imagine, this is great for all kinds of learners and teachers, particularly those with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN).
What this means is that the NTE note-taking service means teaching assistants and teachers have better use their time in supporting students in lessons and also improve the engagement of students, meaning a more productive and enjoyable learning environment for all.
The service has been available in the USA and Canada for over two years, and has now officially being used within UK schools. We highly recommend viewing More information about Conversor NTE’s 30 minute webinar on 9th November, can be found here.
