We have been using SchoolIP for over 6 months now, and are finding it an incredibly powerful tool. Once the School Improvement Plans have been uploaded, we are able to keep track of all the action plans and monitor their progress. More importantly, SchoolIP enables us to evaluate the impact of our strategies, linking with the Self-Evaluation Form module. SchoolIP acts as a repository for all the supporting evidence as well.
The Performance Management module is particularly good for recording and analysing lesson observation information to identify strengths and areas for development in teaching and learning. Again, because SchoolIP is an integrated suite of modules, individual performance management targets can be linked to the school improvement plan.
This is an evolving e-solution to school improvement and evaluation processes, and the developer is very open to the suggestions made by schools as to how the modules can be further enhanced.
