Mobile Homework is a mobile phone based application that keeps parents informed of their child's homework requirements via a text message. Our system is unique, in that the message that goes out is class/grade specific. This product essentially enables parents to partner with their children on their education journey. In his speech at the BETT (Education Technology) conference three weeks ago, Vernon Coaker, The Secretary of State for Schools, said ''we have seen time and time again that if parents are more involved in their child's education, that child will achieve more''. Our unique system is a simple way to use everyday technology to enable parents to keep their finger on the pulse of their child's education. Another benefit of the application is that if a pupil has missed school for some reason, they too can receive their homework via text.
