Mencap, the charity for people with a learning disability, has been running a successful sponsored spelling initiative in schools for 20 years. The new fully digital version of Spellathon makes spelling fun for primary and secondary school children in the UK. Every school that signs up:
- gets free access to fun, interactive online spelling games to play at school and at home as well as free resources for teachers
- can win great prizes including a £10,000 prize
- raises money to support people with a learning disability
- can receive 25% of their school’s sponsorship money
