As a whole school we have been using the Do-Be Teach-lt packs to support our school in
developing the use of educational ICT in new and innovative ways.
It's step by step nature is allowing teachers who are less confident in ICT to pick up skills at
their own rate and in own time, without the need to ask for advice.
Departments have embraced many of the ideas in Teach-lt including Podcasting and
Blogging to name a few and one department has developed a cross-curricular Games Based
Learning unit of work using the ideas in Teach-lt as inspiration. Across the school, numerous
other ideas are been suggested and explored.
Teach-lt is up to date, and forward thinking. Pushing the boundaries of ICT in education and
providing stimulating and fun contexts for pupils to learn.
Lessons and ideas are compatible with ACfE and our SG Learning Outcomes. It fits snugly in
with our school ICT aims and development plan.
Teach-lt has inspired discussion and cross-curricular working in our school. The fact it's
available as a PDF and a big glossy shiny fancy book appeals to a wide range of staff.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Teach-lt to all educational professionals who
wish to further develop their application of ICT in their practice.
Yours Sincerely
