Teaching & Learning

I bought this game after seeing it on display at a CPD day and was immediately drawn by its bright colours. I have always had real trouble getting kids (I'm a cello teacher) to engage with music theory, but this game makes it fun! I don't think the kids think they're actually learning, maybe that's the beauty of it. I've noticed a vast improvement in my pupils' understanding of theory since playing the game with them.
I teach mainly in groups, and the game is perfect for this. The kids now see it as a 'treat' when we play it. They never thought that about theory work before, let me tell you!
It's just a great fun and well designed game which succeeds in developing musical awareness. I must admit that my husband and I have even played it at home!

As a peri teacher I circulate in lots of schools and see various resources some good, some not. This seems to be a very clever & diverse resource applicable for small groups or full classes, parents and music teachers. It is accompanied with KS2 lesson plans if you require them. The kids love it & it's well worth the money.
