Teaching children about Road Safety awareness is fundamental to providing children with basic skills to remember when crossing roads. Children can also learn about the difficulties and dangers on our roads to help prevent life threatening situations. The process will also imbue a sense of responsibility to children who will one day also be qualified drivers on our roads.
The Roadmaster HIGH STREET sets provide an exciting opportunity for children to learn about how and why adults shop as a necessary social activity. Communities that interact with their local High Street provide continuity of both supplies and purchases that are vital to us all. Children will find this opportunity to be adults through pretend play rewarding and fun by using social and language skills.
The Recycling Activity Centre provides facilities for children to learn about responsibility for the environment. Teachers can develop a range of initiatives around litter problems, refuse, fly tipping and general awareness of our environment and the need to recycle as an integral part of our everyday lives.
The Roadmaster range of equipment has been developed to help teach Road Safety and Road Safety awareness to our children through creating fun role play opportunities. Children will learn to interact using social skills and recognise the everyday dangers on our roads using a range of equipment designed specifically for this purpose.
