Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) and Citizenship help to give pupils the knowledge, skills and understanding they need to lead confident, healthy, independent lives and to become informed, active, responsible citizens.
Our Forensic Science Workshops encourage the students to take part in a wide range of "hands-on" activities and experiences across and beyond the curriculum and help them to learn about different religions and cultures, whilst experiencing why these subjects are significant when investigating a Crime Scene.
Community Cohesion is extremely significant when a major Crime has been committed and never more so when it has resulted in a fatality and the victim is a child. This is when you see community cohesion at it's very best.

Jacqui Thompson (PULSE) is a Trainer for the Child Exploitation Online Protection Centre (CEOP) and registered to deliver the ThinkUKnow Programme - this is an OPTIONAL session which can be included in the first session. The 15 minute session focuses on Online Internet Safety, where a short 10 minute film is shown to the students.
Teachers must be aware that this film may cause some pupils to be affected more than others and so it is suggested that a Child Protection Trained Teacher is available. It is also recommended that the CEOP films (age specific) are viewed prior to the workshop.
