As the perfect addition to your Maths Week activities or as a standalone session, our “Amazing Maths” workshop will inspire and engage your learners. Using only the best maths games, puzzles and oversized resources, children will be amazed at how they can use their maths, problem solving and strategy skills to help them through the challenges of the session.
“I’ll have a P please Bob...” If you’re a 30 or 40-something, you might remember the daily dose of television’s Bob Holness and Blockbusters. Well, using their maths, visual and logic skills, children can use the same strategies employed in the TV game to practise their times tables. Oversized boards, counters and dice mean that children are up and moving around whilst playing the game too.
This is just one of our activities which is available as an interactive version for children to use in the classroom or at home, long after the session is over.
Delivered by enthusiastic, qualified teachers every ounce of learning is squeezed out of the activities; our aim is to make maths fun which in turn helps to engage and motivate your learners.
Our "Amazing Maths" workshops can be delivered at three different levels - Keystage 2, 3 or 4.
