All groups are welcome and enjoy staying at Llangollen Hostel, including schools, colleges and universities, work groups, and outdoor activity groups. You can hire the whole hostel (sleeps 32 + 2) for a fantastic rate.

The hostel has clean and comfortable twin and double rooms, en-suite family rooms, four-bed and six-bed en-suite rooms, and a six-bed dorm. All rooms are equipped with basins and mirrors, coat hooks, individual reading lights, and under-bed drawers. All linen is provided and the beds are freshly made. The good quality mattresses ensure a restful night's sleep.

We have 8 rooms, and can sleep 32 people + 2 put up beds. Our room layout is:

Room 1 - 1 double and 2 singles. En suite. (Ground floor)
Room 2 - 4 singles. En suite.
Room 3 - 4 singles. En suite.
Room 4 - 6 singles. Shared bathroom.
Room 5 - 1 double and 3 singles. En suite.
Room 6 - 6 singles. En suite.
Room 7 - 1 double and 1 single. Shared bathroom.
Room 8 - 2 singles. Shared bathroom.

We have a fully-fitted kitchen and an airy dining room. You can relax in the spacious lounge by the log fire. We have a book exchange, free wi-fi internet, plenty of games and activities for adults and children alike, laundry facilities, a drying room, and secure bicycle and canoe storage.

The hostel is perfectly located to explore the Vale of Llangollen, with its walking, climbing, canoeing and mountain biking. Llangollen offers a great choice of restaurants and traditional pubs. The town is home to many cultural events, including the Llangollen Fringe music and arts festival, and the annual International Eisteddfod. With, Llandegla, Chester, Wrexham, the Offa's Dyke Path, and the whole of North Wales nearby, it's a great place to visit.
