MMB moves to broaden FSI’s Room Booking appeal
FSI (FM Solutions) Room Booking capability is launched as a stand-alone, cloud computing application through sister company MMB.
MMB Limited, the sister company of CAFM specialist FSI (FM Solutions), has launched a new, web-hosted product called Room Management System (RMS - www.mmb-rms.com).
RMS is a stand-alone solution for the booking and comprehensive management of rooms and associated services (equipment, catering, visitor badges etc) for meetings and events, for desk spaces to work at, or vehicle parking spaces. RMS already has a proven track record with a bluechip-heavy customer base using it within FSI’s large-scale, enterprise FM software solutions.
Parent company FSI (Holdings) says it has identified a significant market opportunity for this application among many organisations that do not require a full, FSI enterprise FM investment.
FSI Chairman Pat Curran explained:
"All of us in business are increasingly under pressure to get as much value as possible from our internal resources.
“Using the MMB software, a client can plan and monitor room occupation, for example. Reports on use of rooms, energy and other services can then be used to apportion costs and to determine the viability, or otherwise, of meeting spaces. This, in turn, can bring savings and environmental benefits that enhance corporate social responsibility.
