  • Wireless Site Survey - Geode Networks provide the most concise and professional site survey available today. Our expertise is in RF, IP, RTP and Application performance and optimisation. Additionally our services are utilised for densely populated enterprise locations such as large Enterprise Office, Hospitals, Schools and Colleges. By taking into account application resource requirements Geode networks guarantees the wireless system will deliver the range of applications for today and in the future. Our solutions fully support voice, video, data, RFID, metering and monitoring etc. Geode Wireless services include (but not limited to):

  • Solution Designer (Optional Service) - Geode Networks can provide the complete life cycle design service. These services are available for your network infrastructure including servers, storage (NAS/SAN), VoIP, Video, WLAN, mesh, routers, switches, firewalls, workstations and printers network. Our design services also incorporate network LAN & WAN as well as full Wireless and mobility networks incorporating the use of GSM/3.5G/4G/WiMAX services.

Whether you are upgrading and adding functionality to your existing network or setting up a new office, We can design and implement your network to meet and exceeding the functional specifications within the agreed budgets for the project.
These services can provide both in part or in many instances the full service which includes the provision of; design, technology with vendor recommendation, full  installation, configuration and commissioning services.

We can certify the system/solution against the deliverable set out in the design, confirm application fitness, provide documentation and hand over to your operational department or 3rd party outsource.

  • Deployment Program Management (Highly Recommended) - Each network deployment project is lead by a Geode Networks Technical Account Manager (TAM). The TAM is the single point of contact for all technical and project scheduling and deployment activities. The TAM will first develop a detailed scope of work (SOW), bill of material (BOM) and cost budget guideline process for the deployment. The SOW and BOM would be signed off by the school and then developed into a detailed project plan, with task and milestone schedules, and status reporting tools. The TAM would be responsible for attending pre and post project meetings and be the single point of contact to the school and any other third party involved in the overall solution.

Throughout the process of this deployment program, there will be continuous consideration and factoring for any elements of the existing technology that needs to be decanted and reinstalled within the overall new solution.

  • Network Installation & Configuration - All wireless devices and antennas are installed according to applicable rated standard procedures by technicians trained in the specific product. Geode Networks personnel perform the entire installation & configuration or are directly supervising appropriate third party’s to complete all physical installations. Configuration and Integration begins where standard installation ends to ensure that your solutions or systems are running properly in your environment. Geode's Configuration Services deliver enterprise class support to ensure proper and effective configurations are applied to your solution.

Geode Engineers can provide your organisation with the enterprise class support required to install and configure your solution through to sign off and certification where agreed. Our commitment is to deliver a solution as designed and working to an agreed specification.

As part of the Geode Networks installation program, we would ensure that detailed provisioning of all integration work is planned and executed during the installation of the wireless solution. This integration of the wireless solution into the overall project would be scoped-out and documented, with key milestones associated to it, as part of the planning and pre-project meetings

  • CAD: Certification, Activation, Documentation  - Many factors can affect the proper operation of an RF data link. After all physical cabling and wireless device installation is completed, Geode Networks will certify that all performance and available specifications are met. The certification test suite is documented and signed-off. The entire wireless network is then activated, configuration data loaded and stored in all devices, end-to-end network functions certified. All configuration data is recorded electronically for easy access by remote IT staff. A complete documentation package is assembled, including as-built network diagrams, coverage and link physical contours, any telecomm demarcation points, photographs of all devices in their installed positions, and logical network configuration data (security parameters, IP addresses) are provided to the school.
  • Troubleshooting & Customisation - When technical challenges arise, we take immediate ownership of the issue and, when needed, work with your other vendors to find the right solution quickly. We strive to ensure worry-free resolution and data protection for a range of Wireless systems/devices, Network devices, IP and mobile telephony devices, applications, operating systems, etc. A network or an Application may under-perform for years. The users and components are in different geographical locations. The application is possibly multi-tiered. Application & Network performance troubleshooting encompasses all aspects of networking today.

We understand that “sniffing the network” often doesn’t find the root cause of the problem. The communication flow is between transaction components such as Users, Servers, Access Points, Switches, Routers, Database/OS, IDS/IPS/Firewalls, etc. Anything involved in executing a network or application transaction can be where the problem resides.
Geode Networks can investigate and forensically unravel the connection DNA in these flows to understand, prove and resolve the issues in real time effectively and conclusively.

  • Technology & Solution Training - Geode Networks will develop specific training programs targeted at the schools technical support staff, or user groups, to allow day to day management of installed solutions. Further bespoke training can be developed based upon a specific school requirement.

Geode Networks will provide complete post-installation technical support programs, including the options of real time network monitoring, on-site hardware and software maintenance and wireless network troubleshooting for the school.

  • Management & Maintenance - Geode Networks Technical Support Services provide clearly defined and measurable services relating to business requirements. We can provide the assurance to the school that its infrastructure can be supported through real time management. Whether the school chooses remote monitoring services which provide better visibility into a live production network, or have a team quickly and efficiently manage assets, implement change and monitor events onsite; the school will have the confidence that the right skills, procedures and policies are in place to optimise uptime.

We will provide a cost effective Maintenance services tailored to meet the the schools budget delivering fast response times from our help desk 24 x 7 x 365 whilst offering as standard cost efficient next day on site technical support. We can also provide same day on site if required. Further details of these services are highlighted in the next section.

  • Technology and Quarterly Account Reviews -  As part of our support offering, we look to continually add value at quarterly account review meetings with the appropriate school representatives. At these, any support incidents would be discussed, including; problems experienced, process to resolution and root cause analysis, empowering us to prevent any similar issues occurring in the future. Additionally we would take this opportunity to update the school on developments in technology within the installed solution, in an effort to maximise the investment in technology made.
