English from England are UK developers of English language software for young learners who do not have English as their first language. www.englishfromengland.co.uk is an interactive web-based course and uniquely offers high quality video of English children, filmed in England. The videos are linked to interactive games which stimulate a desire to learn English. The website is used by students all over the world who are in the early stages of learning English. It is also used by teachers of non native speakers of English living either within or outside the UK, looking for resources, linked to the written word.

I just want to say how lovely the site is, and what a huge help it is for children to see and hear real English spoken by real English kids! I have two young learners, aged 9 and 12 and their greatest need is to simply hear standard English. Hearing it in the voices of kids like themselves, as they can on your site is I think, unique.

They can be used as a stand alone system as there are teacher's notes, worksheets and other teaching resources or they can enhance and complement any existing course by adding a new dimension to the classroom, making lessons real.
