This is a lovely book. I wanted an easy year 1 friendly book that I could read to my children. This book is colourful and very clear and helps explore the idea of looking after animals and ourselves. Because the book is so child friendly it provoked a lot of discussion within my class about Mohammed and Islam. Using the cat soft toy also helped.
