Educational Musicals create musicals linked to the KS2/3 History Curriculum. Created as a Standard Performance Pack to include a Script with stage directions, performance notes, historical fact pack and an Art Pack showing how to create scenery, costumes and props from re-cycled materials. We also include a libretto music score and a CD with rehersal and fully orchestrated backing tracks should there not be a music teacher available. There are NO performance fees if the audience are not charged but we also produce a Super Pack giving 12 months performance and video licences plus a Lyric 'N Lines CD. We also have Assembly versions, Sing A Long Song Books, Hymns & Carol books. "Entertainment that Educates" is our motto and we go out of our way to ensure you have a product described as "perfect for primary schools with meaty music".

We help attendance because children will attend to make certain they are in and keep their parts in the shows
Many students have progressed into professional theatre or musical careers on the back of these musicals.
History tells students the basis of our current political lives. We have a special show "Athens - The Birth of Democracy" that covers how democracy started and why you should now always vote.
The beauty of musical shows is that they develop teamwork as when you are on the stage you have to rely on others, which is a benefit that goes through into everyday life.
All our shows are written to cover an historical event in the UK KS2 History Curriculum We have learnt that if a child takes part in a musical, they will remember it for life. If it is linked to history they remember that history for life.
Every show is supplied with an Art Pack that has suggestions on how to make the scenery, costumes and props out of recycled materials.
We have been told than many difficult pupils, having performed as a main character in one of our shows, has gone on to improve both behaviour and academic performance.
A standard performance pack of only £49.99 with 100 children performing gives a great financial benefit at £0.49p per child.
Teaching English as a foreign language with UK style music is a great way for foreign students to understand history topics.
Parents as spectators also enjoy watching our shows as we write not just for the children but also for the parents who have to watch.
Educational Musicals are a first class resource for special needs as by performing in a musical they extend themselves.
Our musicals cover several sections of the curriculum and therefore is a great way to include several school departments, English, Drama, Music, History, Dance and Craft & Design.

I teach academically gifted students on an Army base in the United States. My students range in age from six to ten years old and come from many varied backgrounds. We have fallen in love with every show that we have performed from this company. I have ordered six shows in all and am currently in the midst of rehearsing ATHENS: THE BIRTH OF DEMOCRACY.
I cannot say enough about these musicals. They are both educational and entertaining. The music is so catchy, yet simple enough for even the least musically talented ones in the cast. And, the scripts are both historically accurate and humorous at the same time – perfect for an elementary school cast and audience.
Anita and Tony Dalton have been very accommodating each time I have emailed them with any questions regarding their shows. A couple of years ago, they were kind enough to help me out in a pinch by sending PDF and music files via email when I had to change shows at the last minute.
I look forward to adding to my library of shows from Educational Musicals. I would recommend this company and their product to any group interested in performing high quality shows at a very affordable price.
The music has almost always grabbed the interest of the children, the accompanying backing tracks are generally very good quality. In fact for one piece of music we emailed the company to say we were having problems with one part, by return email came an extra few seconds of music to assist!
This is where Educational Musicals are very good. They have always allowed us to add bits, take bits away - which has allowed us to involve some gifted and talented writers. Where some sections of speech are over rather quick we've been able to add our own bits without fear of breaking any rules. The shows are historically accurate so occasionally a little humour, for example, can lack. Our children, who are not born performers have picked up their lines very well.
With each musical we received a fairly weighty art pack, which had some excellent ideas for props etc. using everyday milk cartons and such - Blue Peter heaven! This proved a useful starting point and our props actually turned out very well! It also saved time searching the internet.
The musicals are historical based, with some diverse topics. We have always been able to intergrate with our curriculum and teach around the show, providing a greater context for the pupils.
The Three Musketeers was everyone's favourite. Catchy music and a chance to wear some groovy wigs! We also performed Dream Catcher, Perfect Pirates and Warrior Queen, all good in their own right each offering different qualities.
Excellent value for money.
