Scenes4learning enables you to stream video clips, making learning more engaging. It’s a great way to entertain, stimulate debate, and model new ways of doing things. We hope you will use it to top or tail lessons, in assembly or even on a one to one basis.
The scenes are not designed to be used in isolation. The aim is for each ‘episode’ in a group to raise discussion points, set the agenda, or emphasise consequences. They have been designed so that they are a springboard for your teaching – almost like having some actors at the front of the class with you, to run a quick scene by means of introduction or summary.
The scenes you see on the site are just the start. We’ll add to this every few months, using feedback from educators just like you. So join us and tell us what works or not, and make suggestions. Get involved!
This is just the start of the innovations we will be bringing you in coming months.

‘The Scenes4Learning site is very easy to use. The scenes are perfectly sized and ideal for use in the classroom, assemblies, tutor activities, debates etc. The topics you could use are endless for a resource like this.
I have to say I really like this resource – It is original - I haven’t seen one with short scenes like this which can so easily be incorporated into lesson plans, assemblies and form time activities. They are ideal for classroom debates on delicate issues. The quality of the scenes and acting are superb.’
