Able Canopies  Commercial Retractable Awnings are  constructed from an extremely rigid roller tube along with  waterproof fabric which makes them extremely  suited to the rigours of any commercial setting including schools, nurseries and care homes.

The 85mm roller tube can span up to  7 metres in width and can project up to 4m from the wall. The awning has a  folding arm with different upper and lower arm lengths giving the awning great stability and ensuring that the fabric is taut when the awning is fully extended.

Our teams of fitters are  fully trained to install these specialist commercial awnings and have been awarded all relevant accreditations.

Choice of fabric

The awning fabric is  produced using state-of-the-art weaving looms which guarantees perfection.  The  fabric is  waterproof  and provides high UV protection.  Because of the increased strength of UV radiation, it is important to know just how many UVA and UVB rays will pass through the fabric when purchasing your commercial awning.  The darker  fabrics shown below offer 100% protection and the lighter fabrics stop  97% of harmful rays. All fabrics achieve the highest possible sun protection factor for textiles UPF 50+ (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) which enables children to sit out or play in the sun safely under the fabric fifty times longer that you would otherwise be able to without becoming sun burnt. This makes it perfect for outdoor play areas for children, alfresco dining for customers,  waiting areas for staff or shaded areas for anyone wanting shade and shelter from the elements.
