As an Academy which is no stranger to new technologies, we engaged with Anderton Tiger with a little trepidation when the initial demo session was booked. Within the first 15 minutes of the kit being assembled and Russell explaining what the hardware and software could do, all our fears were allayed. Enthusiasm and excitement for the potential of the Radio Station took over and from then on it was just a matter of how and when we could purchase the kit.
The whole process from demo to installation/training happened within months. This was all down to the flexibility and support from Russell and Sarah. The students who were trained by Russell when the kit was installed are now trying to find every opportunity to get their hands on it. They cannot wait for their first official ‘LIVE’ broadcast.
The kit itself is first class, extremely durable and flexible, having briefly shopped around it quickly became apparent that alternative solutions could not match the quality. Anderton Tiger appear to have thought of everything... except for maybe a Bruno Brookes style mullet for students to sport while they take part in a full, rich and professional radio experience.
A very simple but powerful Radio solution which is a great addition to our Academy and I look forward to all the wonderful engaging activities we will be able to carry out with it.
