Publisher's description

Our school trips to Normandy, Brittany and Picardy aim to acquaint children with these regions of France through a programme of visits, excursions and activities. Children visit schools, museums, towns, markets, bakeries, cheese factories...Excursions are made to historic and cultural landmarks: capital cities including Paris, cathedrals, battlefields, megalithic sites famous gardens, theme parks...Activities include bread making, art workshops, stained glass window workshops, galette making, glass blowing, sculpture workshops... Programmes are tailor made to suit the age of the children, their interests and the teachers’ requirements. The intention is that children practise the language to the maximum, meet their peers, experience the French way of life, see some of France's cultural and historical heritage and have lots of fun in the process.

We aim to give children a unique and unforgettable experience when they go on our trips.  Apart from cultural trips, we also organise art, history and science trips.  Cross curricular trips are getting more popular with schools and they come to us because of our expert knowlege of the country, our professional approach and the quality of our programmes. Many students have commented on the fact that the trip has been an inspirtaiton for them to study French at A level and beyond.
