INSIGHT is the latest development from CEM, which is one of the largest international suppliers of computer-adaptive tests.

INSIGHT is comprehensive pupil profiling system that measures progress and potential  and is designed for teachers. It provides:

• KS3 value-added feedback and attitudinal indicators
• KS4 value-added predictions and feedback
• Measures of developed ability
• Value-added from MidYIS data (where applicable)
• Objective, confidential and reliable
• User-friendly, computer adaptive assessment

Taken at the end of Year 9, INSIGHT offers computer-delivered, adaptive assessments in Maths, Science and Reading.

Results are reported as Key Stage 3 equivalent levels and standardised scores against nationally representative norms.

Progress measures from the MidYIS assessment at the start of secondary school to the end of Year 9 and from the end of Year 9 to GCSE are also included.
