The Interactive Learning Diary is an easy to use, web enabled tool, for Early Years Professionals to record Observations and Learning Journeys within a child's diary, capturing evidence and assessing progress against the curriculum.
The application actively encourages the children's involvement in the their own development and the participation of parents in their child's learning diary.
Observation recording is simple, automatically transferring photos from your digital camera to the photo library, spell checking written text and linking to the curriculum statements. Record next steps for each child or at class level to assist with lesson planning.
Assessments are based on the ares of the curriculum with the ability to view the evidence from observations when an outcome has been achieved.
Progress is tracked using a number of interactive reports clearly showing achievement, evidence and areas requiring focus.
The Interactive Learning Diary has a growing network of schools and nurseries, located throughout the UK, including individual private nurseries, larger chains and primary schools.
The ILD tranforms how a setting records and evidences children’s learning and tracks pupil progress. The diary is accessible and visible to educators, children and families as well as instantly capturing children’s achievements.
