Training

The Synergy Radio Training Academy (SRTA) deliver all of Clyde’s educational training for S-RADIO and SYNERGY Radio studios.

Since 2003, the SRTA have been responsible for developing and training hundreds of educational customers from Primary and Secondary schools, through to Further and Higher Education establishments.

SRTA staff are all qualified teachers, working at further and higher education colleges in England and Scotland.  What makes our staff so unique is their passion for both radio and education.  In their past lives as radio presenters/producers and journalists for Regional BBC stations, one SRTA member achieved a listening audience twice a large as BBC Radio 1 for their county and larger than BBC Radio 3, 4 and Five Live put together!

As both industry broadcast experts and qualified teachers delivering full-time media courses, the SRTA has a big focus on ‘what you learn’, NOT ‘just what we know’.  As a teacher, you will appreciate the difference.

The training is delivered either ‘on-site’ or ‘live - on-line’ and is supported by illustrated guides and videos on how the equipment works together as a system with ‘getting started’ guides to creating your first radio show.
