It has become abundantly clear that 2012 is going to be a year of waiting for decisions to be made about the future positioning of the D & T subject within the National Curriculum framework. Where and how subject will fit is still being discussed, and at the present time a decision is unlikely to be made until later this year.

Bearing the above in mind, ICHF Ltd the organisers of the Design & Technology show have decided after discussing the situation with the Design & Technology Association (DATA) and a number of key influencers and suppliers within the sector, that it would be best to postpone the 2012 show until 2013.

Next year the show will be able to communicate all of the important decisions that will have been confirmed this year about the subject. How it will look going forward, Where it will sit in the Curriculum. How changes that will need to be implemented from September 2014 will be made. Together with general advice and new product developments that suppliers, resource providers and the Association have developed.
