From subject leaders to teaching assistants, business managers to headteachers, everyone in the education sector is constantly having to perform a balancing act; providing the best possible learning experiences, while managing workloads, with limited time and resources - and making the right procurement decisions.

I’m Kelly Jones, partnerships manager for the Innovate My School community, helping to connect you with leading influencers, innovators, and education inspiration. I’m passionate about sharing ideas and inspiring you to push boundaries.

Since 2012 we have brought our pioneering Speed Date sessions to over 5598 primary and secondary school leaders, with 98% of attendees rating the session 4 out of 5 stars or above. As the education landscape evolves, I want to look at why our events continue to be successful after years of bringing innovations to UK and international schools.

One of my favourite aspects of our events is the inclusive, casual feel. I encourage open discussions rather than any hard sell or formal speeches - after all, we are a friendly community who have a lot to share! Why not make it practical and fun?

We aim to make everything we do concise and streamlined to be flexible around you. Working with the events team, I ensure our events fit into a relevant conference or meeting, and that our bigger Lead LIVE events will end in time for you to get back to school before the end of lunch break. In that small window you have to innovate your school with us, we make sure content is valuable, personal, and to the point.

Since taking over as partnerships manager, I’ve been looking at how we can take as much work off your shoulders as possible when organising a Speed Date with us. Now all that’s required from you to host a session is to tell us where, when, and what innovation area you want us to cover. From there we manage everything and cover all costs! We also offer a £1000 grant to host schools, as a thank you for helping to innovate education.
