I've been teaching for 7 years, for the past 6 years I've been teaching at Spring Cottage Primary School, teaching in Year 6. This is my first attempt at blogging. As a self confessed Apple fanatic, I want to write how handheld devices (iPads and iPods) can be successfully used in a primary school. I want to share how I think this technology can change teaching and learning across the curriculum. I want to inspire and encourage the teachers I work with to take a chance and think outside of their comfort zone and embrace this new technology. In addition, I'd like to share the apps which would be effective in the classroom. By writing these blogs and our school's 'iPad Journey'.
