Edtech Lead LIVE Suffolk
1st July 2019, 8.30am-1.30pm
The newly published DfE edtech strategy calls on industry to 'support schools in overcoming common challenges associated with implementing edtech'.
As a grassroots education community spanning 9 years of providing practical solutions and ideas to improve teaching and learning, Innovate My School will now be providing free CPD sessions on how to build a world class edtech strategy.
We are delighted to be working with Dr Neelam Parmar, who has co-created our edtech Lead LIVE agenda, and to St Alban’s Catholic High School for hosting the morning and supporting our mission of ensuring every UK school is equipped with an effective edtech strategy that puts impact at the heart of teaching and learning.
"During the workshop sessions, delegates will be informed about key areas of digital strategy and how it all works together to ensure a successful digital implementation. They can expect to leave with a bespoke mini implementation plan to begin their own edtech journey.“ - Dr Neelam Parmar
|Dr Neelam Parmar is the award winning Director of e-learning at Ashford School, which was recognised as one of just fifty flagship schools that demonstrate a focused sense of education technology in the Edtech50. She was previously employed as The Director of Digital Innovation and Learning across The London Preparatory Schools and was instrumental in leading the transformational change of embedding technology within learning and development.|
What will I learn about?
- Digital Leadership
- Digital Ecosystems
- Digital Workflows
- Digital Curriculum

We won’t just be talking edtech, Neelam will be hands-on working with you to create your very own edtech strategy, equipping you with an edtech toolkit and clear, actionable takeaways for you to implement in your school.
The morning will also include one of our super-efficient Speed Date sessions, where you will be introduced to technology products that have been independently evidenced for reducing teacher workload and improving student attainment. This session will be run by our new sister platform Edtech Impact, which helps schools to measure the impact of technology products on student and teacher outcomes over an extended trial period.
