The company won the backing of World Innovation Summit for Education’s (WISE) incubator scheme last year – the WISE Accelerator - a leading international initiative driving innovation and collaboration in education. TeachPitch was also named one of the 100 Top Tech Entrepreneurs in the UK by the The Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
TeachPitch’s tech intelligently cuts through search engine results and offers its users a teacher-curated library system accessible through a community technology.
The custom solution for schools will give all teachers within departments access to a secure, privately accessible, cloud-based repository that allows them to work with relevant digital learning material. The material is sourced from the school teachers in addition to the premium learning resources selected, shared, rated and reviewed through the solution’s rapidly growing library.
Each teacher accesses the system through an individual account so they can personally select and work with the best online learning material in preparation for classes. The technology’s growing functionalities on the level of storage, indexation and use of crucial ‘raw’ learning material (eg Word docs, PDFs, PPTs, pictures, audio and/or video) make it an ideal solution for educational institutions as they can access the most relevant content to support their teaching activities.
“Thanks to the support of WISE over the past year, we have developed a number of innovative projects, including TeachPitch for Schools with some great clients in the United Kingdom,” said Aldo de Pape, CEO of TeachPitch. “We have learned a great deal from all the feedback school teachers shared with us and are really looking forward to assist as many educators as we can to effectively learn more and teach better through the use of the best online learning resources.”
The team at TeachPitch is very proud to be working with Harrow School as one of its first clients in the United Kingdom.
