Today The Edtech Podcast announced a strategic partnership with Innovate My School. Launched in May by Sophie Bailey, the programme includes edtech interviews, trends and news, and is downloaded in 69 countries, including the UK and US, Brazil, China and Saudi Arabia. This strategic partnership will see the podcast published and shared via Innovate My School.

The Edtech Podcast works with industry associations and communities including BESA, NAACE, WomenEd, EdTech Exchange, Emerge Education, Education Technology and University Business magazine, and event organisers such as Bett, EdTechXGlobal and ASU GSV to distribute interviews.

The most popular episodes include interviews with modern foreign languages expert Joe Dale,  Hackney Community College principal Ian Ashman, GSV Partners’ Deborah Quazzo, and Mark Martin (aka UrbanTeacher).

‘’I’m very excited to work with Innovate My School,” said Sophie. “Not only do they have an amazing network of engaged education leader thinkers, I’ve also found them true to their values: enthusiastic, friendly and leading edge. There is much for us to collaborate on!’’

The Edtech Podcast Launch Party on October 12th will bring together the community of listeners, interview guests, partners and sponsors. Ross Morrison McGill of Teacher Toolkit, Mark ‘@ICTEvangelist’ Anderson, University of Loughborough, University of Southampton, Department of International Trade, Association of Colleges and Here East are among those already signed up.

The event will feature the opportunity for listeners to interact directly with interviewees during a special The Edtech Podcast live feature, followed by networking drinks in an East London venue.

Innovate My School managing director Michael Forshaw added: “The EdTech Podcast provides exactly the kind of unique, enjoyable content that the education community needs to hear about. We're delighted to support Sophie on her mission of sharing the latest innovation in education.”

The Edtech Podcast is available on iTunes, Libsyn, TuneIn, SoundCloud, PocketCast and Stitcher. Sophie welcomes any enquiries from those seeking to support its mission of sharing educator innovator voices as widely as possible.
