Pete Smith graduated in 3D design in the mid eighties, and after a successful career as a retail designer working both in the UK and Europe, went on to form a graphic design agency in Bristol which five years later he then subsequently sold. Innova was started in 1999 specialising at first in producing school furniture and later taking on more specialised furniture production work. As a founding director, Pete gets involved in all aspects of design and manufacture, and is currently heading up the export drive in the Middle East. Out of work Pete’s passions are Music, Art and hill walking with his faithful Chocolate Lab Molly.
For those of us of a certain age, a school library was a place where you had to sit quietly, under the watchful gaze of a stern librarian who’d “shush” you loudly if you dared to try and have a conversation with your friends.
