The Mmanze Centre for Rural Development & Training (MACERUDET) is a community-based Ugandan organization engaged in empowering self-help projects and sustainable development programmes in marginalized rural communities. It takes its name from Mmanze Community, of Masulita Sub County in Wakiso District, northwest of Kampala. In the field of teaching, volunteers are needed to assist at local Primary schools and Mmanze Community Secondary School (MCSS), as teachers, trainers & pedagogues.
 MACERUDET offers teacher placements,teaching assistant opportunities in a local school, and an adult education programme.

A UN-partnered Ugandan organisation is seeking teaching volunteers to join them for their education project. Founded in 1987, the Mmanze Centre for Rural Development and Training (MACERUDET) is a community-based organization working with the people of rural Uganda to improve their standards and conditions of living. This project sees British teachers working alongside their Ugandan peers, aiding with both Primary and Secondary pupils’ education in the process.
