“It’s a proud moment to be awarded FSC certification and a fitting reward for all our efforts to constantly improve and refine our environmental strategies. The process of gaining certification also involved contacting our suppliers to make them aware of their responsibilities and to compile an FSC approved supplier list. Whilst we already had robust management systems in place, as part of ISO 14001 continual improvement we reviewed our procedures and introduced some additional checks to ensure only FSC materials are used in our products. Additional training was given to all front line staff and an awareness training programme was undertaken for all company personnel to ensure the processes were thoroughly understood and implemented.
