SISRA launches new educational blog

SISRA

SISRA Ltd offer two web-based solutions for schools: SISRA Analytics enables schools to track the progress of students from Key Stage 3 through to 5, using whichever ‘life after levels’ assessment system they’ve chosen, and calculate the new performance measures at the click of a button. SISRA Observe simplifies the observation and self-evaluation process, allowing users to record, store and analyse the results to identify strengths and weaknesses in the quality of teaching. Both services are intuitive and easy to access and use for all levels of staff.

Data solutions gurus SISRA Limited have announced the launch of their very own educational blog. These blog posts are written by SISRA’s experienced, passionate data consultants, each of whom have first-hand experience of working with data in a school environment. The purpose of the blog is to discuss current issues in the educational world.

Topics discussed will include ‘How to effectively track and evaluate the 2017 cohort’ and ‘Preparing for an Ofsted visit’.

“It’s exciting to have an opportunity to share some of the data knowledge and understanding that we have developed as a team, through supporting and working with our 1600 customer schools, with a wider audience,” said Becky St John, senior data consultant. Becky joined the SISRA team in 2012, while still retaining a one-day-a-week role at school as a strategic data advisor and also serving on the governing body.

SISRA is already well known on the education scene for their two flagship products: SISRA Observe and SISRA Analytics. The former allows educators to record and analyse teaching and learning data, while the latter is a web-based service that assists schools with department reviews, target setting, analysis of current data, interventions and exam analysis.
