Available in four colours, the user-friendly HUE HD Pro features built-in LED lights and compatibility with both Windows and OS X. The device also comes with specially designed software HUE Intuition, which allows teachers to record video and sound, save movies locally and share them via email or YouTube. Users can also annotate images and save as JPG, BMP, PNG or GIF.
“I use this camera all the time in my lessons to live model activities for students,” said a teacher from Allerton Grange High School. “They love watching me do things, and naturally want to work along with me. The HUE HD Pro delivers such a crisp picture, and it’s much more stable than the HUE HD - I’m never interrupting learning to fiddle with the camera. Since buying this, three other teachers in my department have invested in one as well!”
This gadget, which was launched at Bett 2015, has been designed with the modern classroom in mind. It is ideal for demonstrating a science experiment, taking snapshots of schoolwork, recording a technique for class sharing, stop motion animation, Skyping and more.
Teachers with an interest in the Hue HD Pro are encouraged to partake in a free 30 day trial.
