The very first Innovate My School Twitter competition has been launched, and will see one UK school receive a £150 voucher for stationary and classroom supplies vendors Viking. All teachers and school staff need to do is let us know what they’d do with these supplies via tweet to be in with a chance at winning. Entrants should ensure that they’re following us, because the winner will be notified by Twitter DM!

Twitter is where the majority of our audience-interaction takes place. In December 2015, the @InnovateMySchl account passed 20,000 followers, and the competition run in collaboration with Viking was launched to celebrate this.

“The UK education community’s enthusiasm and passion is second-to-none,” said IMS editor James Cain. “We see this on Twitter daily, and are fortunate enough to use the platform to chat and collaborate with educators both in the UK and abroad.

“We’re thrilled that Viking put themselves forward to provide the prize. No doubt there are plenty of schools out there who could do with £150 worth of school supplies!”

Entrants must tweet their answer by Monday 22nd February and be based at a Primary, Secondary or SEN-equivalent school in the UK. The winner will be chosen and notified by Friday 26th February.
