The Bangor school took to the stage at Cardiff’s Millennium Centre after dramatically increasing school income and providing pupils with a diverse range of extracurricular activities, as well as bringing additional child care opportunities for parents. The school’s use of eeZeeTrip was highly praised by the judges in how it enabled the school to streamline resources and save hours of teacher and admin time. This is particularly evident in the boom in breakfast and after-school clubs now available, as well as holiday time activities the school can now offer.
eeZeeTrip prides itself in being the complete solution for managing school activities, online payments and communications. The resource has been designed to handle the likes of after-school clubs, breakfast clubs, school trips, Music lessons, dinners, milk and snacks, sports events and PTA fundraisers.
“It’s great to see eeZeeTrip recognised by the Award for the way it is transforming how the school operates,” remarks Cae Top headteacher Llew Davies. “I hope we’re setting an example for other schools to follow.”

As well as eliminating printing costs and the endless paper chase of letters to and from parents, eeZeeTrip has also dramatically reduced the schools text message costs and with a simple ’shopping basket’ allows parents to pay for items directly.
On the payments, Mr Davies notes the benefits to the school: “The simplicity of payments is really convenient for parents. We have to spend far less time chasing for unpaid bills and have far less cash being handed into the school office”.
Regarding time savings, Mr Davies says: “Before we had eeZeeTrip, so much time was spent on the logistics of activities - collecting consent forms, chasing payments, phoning parents to remind them. It was endless. Now that is all taken care of, so this year we can put all our efforts into providing stimulating and enjoyable activities for the children”.
